About

My Story

I found my love of theatre through working as a crew member on the school play in eighth grade. I became fascinated with creating imaginary worlds for the actors and audience members. From that moment on, I became more involved with the arts in high school. My passion for theatre continued and lead me to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance at Belmont University.

During my time in undergrad, I received training in multiple styles of acting, including, French Restoration, Devised Theatre, Laban, Meisner, and Shakespearean. I discovered the benefits of being a well-rounded theatre artist and learning lighting and sound design, carpentry, dramaturgy, and directing. My diverse background has lead me to jobs in stage management, lighting, and costume dresser.

As I continue to the next chapter of my career, I am striving to be a theatre artist that puts people first; it is my goal as an artist to make theatre a more inclusive art form that embraces stories from all people.
